Times of sadness, illness, or changing circumstances often increase our need to be nurtured by our faith community through prayer, kindness and worship. Times of great joy can inspire a longing to share our gladness! Parish Care is a team of lay parishioners dedicated  to faithfully upholding the well-being of our parish family — and beyond — through hospital and home visitation, greeting card and letter writing, flower deliveries, knitting and distributing prayer shawls, and regular Holy Communion services at retirement communities, and of course, by committing to pray for those on our parish prayer list, and indeed all who ask for our prayers.

The Parish Care team is also present for prayer and conversation in the St Michael Chapel Prayer Circle after Sunday morning services.  Parish Care is an essential element of our congregation living into its core values of compassion, community, and love. By the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ we are here to reach out to any and all who might be blessed by our offering of care.

Parish Care is not complicated or demanding; it is very important and the team welcomes all who feel called to this ministry.
