Nicaea at 1700 Conference
October 26th-28th, 2025
2025 marks the 1700th anniversary of the Council of Nicaea and the Nicene Creed. This confession of the Triune God’s nature and action in the world set the stage for the development of Christian theology and worship as we know it today.
Trinity Church, an Episcopal parish of the Diocese of New Jersey located in the heart of Princeton, invites you to a short conference to celebrate this anniversary. The conference will include lectures, choral liturgies, food, and fellowship. Low-cost lodging is available at the Erdman Center of Princeton Theological Seminary, or you may arrange your own lodging.
Speakers include:
Liza Anderson, Ives Congar Research Fellow at the Angelicum Institute for Ecumenical Studies
The Rt. Rev. Sally J. French, Bishop of the Diocese of New Jersey, preaching and presiding at the principal Eucharist
